Joshua Jacobs is an A.U.S. Navy veteran, from San Francisco, California. who has been an artist for over 30 years. He mainly works with acrylics, airbrush and oils, and has been painting professional athletes for a very long time.
“I admire their athletic ability along with their warrior spirit on the field. After my father introduced me to the 49ers at a young age, sports and art are my favorite passions. Sports fans keep me motivated and the players inspire me to deliver to the best of my ability in art. I’m always working on new projects,” Joshua states.
He paints on wood, metal, canvas, and on other textures that afford him the ability to get different and unusual results from his paintings, and he jokes that he will try even different pallets for the Deacon Jones Foundation.
